Help and Donations
People continue to ask what they can do to help out Cregg and Cindy. We have put together some ideas for you, but please feel free to use your own imagination as well.
Cregg and Cindy were both teachers, drafting and English respectively. Cindy has not been able to work for the past year and Cregg, as a Reservist, has been mobilized since 9/11. Currently he commutes to Burbank every week day and works one weekend a month. When he gets home from the long drive he spends time caring for Cindy who is home alone most weekdays. The loss of one income and the increase in medical bills has placed them in the position of balancing a daunting budget. Cregg is currently looking for work closer to home, so if you have any job leads, please contact him at cregghill@sbcglobal.net or (805) 701-6711.
We have set up a calendar on this site so that you can check and see when they might need help with a ride, meals, etc. You can add your activity to the calendar and Cindy and/or Cregg will let you know that she has received your kind offer of help.

Ideas
Spend time with Cindy to keep her busy and to ward off the depression. You can come by the house or when she is not feeling the side effects of the chemo she can drive herself to meet you. She likes to take walks, go swimming, play scrabble, sip coffee, watch movies, and laugh.
Help out around the house and yard especially during the week following chemo. Buy groceries, prepare meals, mow the lawn, do the dishes, fold the laundry, etc.
Make phone calls, send notes, send emails, say prayers.
